Gladstone Olive Company

Gladstone Olive Company is a family-owned business by restaurateurs Adam and Nicola Newell of Union Square Restaurant in Martinborough.

 The company produces excellent quality cold pressed extra virgin olive oils and a range of other artisan food products such as brined olives, dukkah, dressings, vincotto and truffle oil made with Wairarapa-grown black truffles.

Located on the banks of the Ruamahanga River in the Wairarapa, the olive grove is mainly planted with the Tuscan varieties Frantoio and Leccino. A range of other varieties are also grown; including koroneiki, picual and arbequina.
