The Drunken Nanny – Martinborough’s goat cheese and other good stuff!
The Drunken Nanny was born when Amanda and Lindsey Goodman decided to diversify their current sheep and beef farming operation. Seeing a gap in the market (and in their paddocks) for quality, locally produced fresh cheeses, they jumped at the opportunity to turn Amanda’s goat-breeding hobby (actually, obsession) into a productive business.
After a gruelling battle with paperwork to gain certification and an intensive building process setting up their state-of-the-art cheese-making room their production has begun with a Lush Fresh Curd and a Frisky Feta.
Next to be released to the market will be a Savvy Washed-Rind and a Cheeky Camembert, all made with 100% free-range goats’ milk.
